Dr. Steven S. Sharfstein has been named the fourteenth reipient of the Abraham L. Halpern Humanitarian Award of the American Association for Social Psychiatry. He will present My 55-Year Journey as a Social Psychiatrist: From Activism to Community Psychiatry to Political Advocacy to Leadership to Retirement and Beyond at the 2026 Humanitarian Award Forum during the Annual Meeting of the American Psychiatric Association. His lecture will be held on Sunday, May 17th from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. in Room 301 (LL) at the San Francisco Moscone Center.
